E082A info found in the Schedule on page 56 (GP42)
E082 – admission assessment premium
*this fee code is only eligible with consults/assessments when the most responsible physician admits the patient
E083A/E084A info found in the Schedule on page 61 (GP47)
E083 – subsequent visit by MRP on a weekday
E084 – subsequent visit by MRP on a weekend or holiday
*E084 is only eligible for specific specialties
*these 2 codes are only eligible with subsequent visits
*C121 is not eligible with these premiums
If MRP is not admitting pt, but MRP sees that pt next day when pt is already admitted by on call physician. In that case MRP can bill E082 on next day when pt is already admitted by on call physician ?

E082 is only eligible once per admission. You would need to use the appropriate subsequent visit + MRP premium (E083/E084). I have seen physicians bill an assessment code when taking over as MRP but then the MRP premium would not be eligible with the consult/assessment code.
